Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager (3–month contract) – Chester UK – Full–time onsite

A leading 150M Engineering/FM organisation near Chester is seeking a qualified Interim Finance Manager for a 3–month contract starting next week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands–on day–to–day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
• End to end month end close
• Work closely with the finance team to implement process improvements and increase efficiency
• Identify and implement systems improvements

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven hands–on finance experience
• Experience of working in the engineering, facilities management, or consultancy sectors
• Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment

Contract Details:

• Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
• Happy to be onsite 5 days/week
• Rate: Approximately 300 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside
