Director of Sales & Marketing – Upscale Hotel (Brighton)

About the Hotel
This exciting new property boasts 225 guest rooms and state–of–the–art meeting facilities. Our client is poised to become a leader in Brighton's hospitality scene, and you'll play a key role in making that happen.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve ambitious revenue goals across rooms, conferences, and food & beverage. You'll lead a team of professionals and be responsible for everything from day–to–day operations to long–term planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales and marketing team to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to target local and global corporate clients, meetings & events, and leisure travellers.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, client meetings, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
- Oversee the hotel's online presence and drive traffic to the website.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
- Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows.
- Manage the annual marketing budget.
Requirements
- Prior experience within the hospitality industry is required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
