Finance Manager

Are you a finance professional with a knack for both detailed invoicing and high–level commercial projects? We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the Marine Engineering sector.

Responsibilities would include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including raising / posting journals
• Managing company credit cards
• Overseeing the purchase invoice process
• Analysis of management accounts, liaising with operations regarding material variances and queries
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Maintenance of balance sheet control accounts
• Preparation of weekly cashflows, streamlining processes where possible
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Payroll

Skills and Experience:

• In–depth knowledge of SME management accounts
• Self–motivator used to proactively improving and investigating
• Strong cashflow management
• SAGE experience desirable
• A good understanding of IT packages including Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with directors
