Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through a collaborative approach, negotiating with both internal and external partners, clients, and customers.
- Drive the success of business plans and strategies by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in both public and private sectors, aligning with the Traffic & Parking team's growth objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to teams of engineers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and training to deliver high–quality service consistently.
- Participate in operational team meetings, contribute to management strategies, and oversee up to six direct reports, conducting annual performance reviews.
- Manage work programmes and provide expert technical support for Traffic and/or Parking projects, overseeing all transportation and highway schemes from start to finish.
- Monitor team workloads, address emerging issues, and ensure quality, consistent performance, and technical excellence in all deliverables.
- Actively recruit and develop high–quality talent, manage resources, and collaborate cross–regionally to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Support regional financial performance through effective management of key accounts, debt, project oversight, staff resourcing, and pipeline analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the traffic and/or parking industry.
- Proven experience in managing large teams and substantial budgets at a senior level.
- Membership in a Professional Institute, preferably Chartered with CIHT or ICE.
- Strong background in quality assurance and technical leadership.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing technical reports.
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation, strategic planning, and guidelines.
