East London
350 – 450 per day
Our client is a leading construction and infrastructure services company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in housing development. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high–quality housing projects while maintaining a commitment to safety, excellence, and client satisfaction.
Lead and manage housing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met within the agreed time lines and budget.
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including planning, design, procurement, subcontractor management, and on–site construction activities.
Work closely with the client, stakeholders, and internal teams to establish clear project goals, deliverable, and performance metrics.
Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes throughout the project life cycle.
Foster a collaborative and productive working environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among project team members.
Conduct regular site inspections and maintain close supervision of all construction activities to maintain the highest levels of quality and safety.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, addressing any variances and proposing appropriate corrective actions.
Requirements:
Proven track record as a Project Manager with a strong background in housing development projects.
Possession of a Black CSCS Card, demonstrating a high level of construction site competence.
Preferably educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
In–depth knowledge of housing construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve exceptional results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high–quality standards.
A proactive problem–solving attitude, capable of making informed decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
