Interim Financial Controller

A high–growth financial services business based near Portsmouth are seeking to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for a period of 3–6 months.

Reporting to the CFO you'll have financial oversight for new acquisitions coming in to the company portfolio:

Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller

• Ensure effective financial controls are in place
• Preparation of monthly reporting, deliverable to the Head of Finance, for group consolidated reporting
• Support the M&A team as required including M&A Integration and Completion Accounts
• Working with business unit stakeholders to provide financial information and to aid in long–term and short–term decision making
• Responsible for working with the auditors to provide the necessary information for group audit
• Support the CFO as part of the annual budgeting round and the ongoing reforecasting process and reporting.
• Business unit cash flow management including cashflow forecasting

Skills and Experience required for the Financial Controller

• Experience of working in a fast–paced role, ideally in the financial services sector
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• M&A / Integration experience
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
