THE BUSINESS

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, located at our head office on Team Valley, Gateshead.

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for helping to drive the business forward and develop our client base (both contract and permanent).


THE ROLE

  • Growing and developing Westray Recruitment Group s market presence within our chosen markets regionally, nationally and internationally
  • Helping to grow our market presence, establish our footing in new and emerging markets
  • Delivering new business generation winning and securing exclusive work
  • Developing Westray Recruitment Group s sales and marketing activity within our chosen markets helping to create content alongside Westray s marketing team that appeals to prospective clients and candidates
  • Attending client meetings to promote our service offering
  • Updating clients within projects and also forming aftercare service reviews
  • Delivering excellent levels of customer service
  • Attending various networking events, trade shows and awards ceremonies to promote Westray Recruitment Group and working to maximise our memberships
  • Cross selling across the business focusing on all departmental specialisms

THE PERSON

  • Experienced Sales professional with a strong background winning and securing work
  • Technical sales background preferred, but not essential
  • Prior experience selling into the recruitment sector preferred, but not essential
  • Tenacious, ambitious, customer focused
  • A self–starter who can work to manage own work load
  • Full UK driving license
