The Role & Responsibilities

Working closely with the company's Managing Director, this is a great opportunity to really help shape the development and growth of the business.

Core Responsibilities entail:

  • Being heavily involved within account management, overseeing and leading on key client relationships, such as a well–known international medical manufacturer
  • Assisting with growing orders, revenue and general work from core accounts and new businesses
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to help develop, enhance and grow the company

Helping with planning organisational capability

Experience & Background

It is likely suitable candidates will have:

  • Experience in Accounts and / or selling to major size customers perhaps in areas such as medical, semi–conductors, R&D or industrial engineering environments
  • Solid understanding of account development, sales processes and value selling, as well as proven business analysis skills
  • An ability to consistently understand product applications in the customer's environment
  • Excellent problem–solving and project management/planning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Demonstrated presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong levels of attention to detail with everything they do
  • A willingness to travel with lots of flexibility needed
  • High levels of empathy and a really good listener – if candidates are able to speak languages that's a real plus
  • Successfully managed people before
  • Strategic qualities and sincerity, with an ability to develop long term successful relationships Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency are required: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook email and calendar)
  • Above average and demonstrated customer service, organizational and communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) are required
  • A degree that is likely to be in areas such as Physics, Maths or Engineering
