Finance Manager

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a growing SME, based in Fareham, who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a 3 – 4 month contract basis.

The main purpose of this role is to support the finance team in their daily tasks and other stakeholders of the business to assist the Head of Finance with the production of management information and board packs. Whilst also working with them to develop strategies based on financial research whilst ensuring ownership and integrity is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• WIP and Project accounting

• Production of monthly management accounts

• Fixed Asset Register and balance sheet reconciliations

• HMRC returns

• Assist with production, monitoring and reporting of budgets

• Assist with managing and forecasting cash flow

• Management of the Accounts Team

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Sage experience is key

• Experience with Projects and WIP accounting are key

• Experience of managing a team is beneficial

Paying GBP20 – GBP25 p/h PAYE

This is an office based role with the chance of some hybrid further down the line.
