Project Manager
Tier 1 Leading Civil Engineering & Infrastructure specialist
Sector: Water / Infrastructure / Civil Engineering
Covering: North / East London
Salary: Up to GBP80k + excellent benefits package
Our client is one of the largest civil engineering and infrastructure specialists with 40 years experience working UK–wide across the water, transport, built environment and energy sectors.
Looking after multiple schemes valued between 0.5M up to GBP10M with a focus on water projects, it is an exciting time to join the business given their enviable order book and strong pipeline of works.

Role Specifics:
Ability to manage and over 2 to 3 projects with a total portfolio value up to GBP15m. Must have NEC contract delivery experience with commercial and programme knowledge. Ability to develop full delivery programme (in P6 / MS Project) and develop a full delivery cost forecast. Understand change under the contract. Lead with preconstruction, design managers and clients.
Essential
- Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
- Ability to use Primavera P6 software or equivalent
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- MEICA Capabilities
- CSCS manager s card
- SMSTS
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
- Excellent communication, people, and team management skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and mentor
- Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion
- Ability to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance
- Problem–solving and analytical thinking
