Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager (6–month contract) Near Liverpool UK – Full–time onsite

A leading GBP150M Engineering/FM organisation near Liverpool is seeking a qualified Interim Finance Manager for a 6–month contract starting in the next 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands–on day–to–day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
• Support the year–end/statutory reporting
• Hands–on involvement in the 2025 budget process.
• End to end month end close
• Work closely with the finance team to implement process improvements and increase efficiency
• Identify and implement systems improvements

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven hands–on finance experience
• Experience working in the engineering, facilities management, or construction sectors
• Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
• Happy to be onsite 5 days/week
• Rate: GBP(Apply online only) per day
• IR35 Status: Outside
