Fit Out UK are an industry leading interior fit out and logistics service provider. We work with a broad range of blue chip Clients across the retail, hospitality, banking and commercial sectors.
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join the team, on a remote/hybrid basis (we have offices in Yorkshire and London so ideally can be within reachable location of either).
The successful candidate would manage small and large projects, full mechanical, planning tasks, preparing and sourcing labour and equipment, engaging with clients and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain project programmes and deal with
Responsibilities:
Manage technical projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Lead and coordinate the activities of the sites teams.
Communicate project status to project team.
Identify and resolve project issues and risks.
Develop and implement strategies for successful project delivery.
Ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget.
Attend site surveys and produce detailed Site Audit Reports to aid project scope and costing
Engage with suppliers & contractors.
Manage and expand sub contractor base
Demand high levels of health and safety across all projects
Requirements
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to present concepts to various audiences;
Ability to successfully work independently;
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software;
Must have strong customer service skills;
Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, or 10 years of field experience in mechanical construction plumbing and/or HVAC only;
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management and years related experience;
Ability to implement and oversee technologies such as BIM and LEAN principles;
Revit, AutoCad, Trimble, and MS Office a plus;
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills;
Project Management experience working in the areas of commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
Understanding of Plumbing, Ventilation, and air conditioning
This is a Full–Time position, with option of hybrid working based out of our office in West London.
