Sales Diector Luxury Cosmetics London 80k – 90k Hybrid

Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a successful luxury cosmetics business that are in a period of change. The company has the potential and huge ambitions to become the 'go to' for luxury skincare.

Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director, the Sales Director will drive growth and profitability for store and online beauty sales both in the UK and internationally. Key areas of responsibility include driving sell–out, forecasting, trade marketing, visual merchandising, budgeting, and profit & loss management. Additionally, the role involves negotiation of trade terms and joint business plans (JBPs). Initially, you will oversee a Key Account Manager (KAM) and in–store teams.

Please note, this role is head office based, so sales experience 'in–store' is unsuitable. All applicants must also have the legibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Manager:

Identify new partners along with new territories of potential success

Manage and mentor a Key Account Manager
Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with premium retailers
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, setting performance goals and KPIs.
Deliver a comprehensive key account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and yearly growth plans
Establish strong relationships and strategic partnerships with key customers
Attend industry events to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners.
Focus on brand and category performance through building strong internal relationships with the team

The ideal candidate:

About You

  • Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within the luxury market, or ready to step up from a more junior commercial role.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands–on approach and problem–solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with numbers and capable of handling complex problem–solving.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Must be flexible with travel requirements, including potential international trips and be in the office 3 days a week.
