Part Time Finance Manager

A local SME is looking to recruit a part time Finance Manager to join their thriving business. You will take the predominant lead in all things finance with an administrator that provides supports across the transactional elements including credit control. This position offers a hybrid working pattern with the working hours anticipated to be a minimum of 20 per week. You will be office based two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays).

Part Time Finance Manager – About The Role

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be providing guidance and support in relation to the growth strategy for this exciting business. The transactions volume is very low and so this role is sustainable within the aforementioned hours.

You will ideally be available immediately or with a notice period of one month.This role offers a fabulous working environment, flexibility including hours and sets the bar when it comes to employee engagement. Responsibilities will include:

• Monthly meeting packs and presentation
• PSA reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of the monthly management accounts including presentation to the Directors
• Update and managethe cash–flow forecast
• Complete VAT submissions
• Send out all invoices and monthly statement to customers
• Process and calculate monthly accruals, journals and prepayments

The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have/be:

• A solid background of working within an SME business environment
• Qualified in finance – ACCA / ICAEW / CIMA
• Experience of working in a role that requires end to end knowledge of finance
• Experience of working with a Cloud based accounting package
