Job Title: Renewable Energy Business Development Manager – BDM

Locations: North West

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy industry, requires a Business Development Manager to help drive their sales growth. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing a business strategy focused on financial gain, arranging business development meetings with prospective clients, and expanding the clientele.


  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company s products/services, addressing or predicting clients objectives
  • Prepare sales orders, ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after–sales support
  • Build long–term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry–level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Adaptability and a positive approach to tasks are essential

Requirements and Skills:

  • You are a clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • MUST have experience in Business Development, sales or a relevant role in the Renewable Energy Industry
  • Proven sales record
  • Customer support experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills


  • Salary GBP35k – GBP50k DOE
