Business Development Manager – Enterprise Technology Solutions

They've established a strong presence in the marketplace through ongoing partnerships with multiple NHS sites. But they are now poised to diversify and flourish in new sectors. They're hunting for private sector, enterprise (SME & Corporate) and other public sector contracts circa 2m+ yearly. As such, this ambition has led to the creation of a Business Development Manager role.

Key Aspects of the Role

Strategic Development: Formulate and execute a robust strategy to target sectors enabling high–value contracts.

Service Delivery: Drive best–in–class service delivery focusing on support desk, engineering, software development, project management & delivery, and consultancy. Hardware is not a focus.

Business Acumen: Leverage your understanding of market dynamics to generate new business, forecast sales, and meet or exceed these forecasts.

Networking: Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Essential Experience:

Business Development Leadership: Significant experience in new business sales hunting in IT support services is imperative, ensuring that you possess a strong understanding of technical service delivery.

Enterprise Solutions Sales: Current or very recent track record of successful services or solutions sales to Enterprises within depth understanding of procurement processes to ensure that our client is part of the bids and tender process for new technology solutions.

Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and deliver a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals to diversify into broader public sector behind NHS.

Full Bid Experience: From initial contact through to contract award.

Relationship Management: Demonstrable track record of nurturing client relationships and generating business proposals to meet the needs of Enterprise clients from SMEs to Corporates.

Trend Awareness: Staying abreast of industry trends in relation to technology solutions to maintain competitiveness and the company's positioning.
