Job Title: Financial Controller

Reports to: Managing Director

Salary: GBP33,000 per annum Dependant on Experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm

Location: Doncaster, DN2

Purpose of the position:

To take responsibility for the finance department duties, covering all areas of management and financial accounting, processing supplier invoices, debtor collection and providing management information.

A key member of the team with a responsibility to improve business performance by supporting senior management through accuracy and providing financial information and assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all areas of the accounting functions including A/R, A/P and General Ledger; Compile and analyse financial information to produce the monthly management reports for the Company.
• To produce and ensure the accuracy for daily and weekly reports, business information and KPIs.
• Provide regular updates to Senior Management on the financial performance of the Company.
• Maximizing working capital efficiency, ensuring that debtor days are kept to a minimum.
• To ensure governance and audit processes are adhered to and to plan and execute regular reviews and checks and balances to meet minimum requirements.
• Performs any other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience required in a similar role, with experience of covering all finance functions.
• Proven track record of working on your own initiative.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience of using SAGE (200 and 50)
