Business Development Manager (Audio Visual)

Location: Sussex / Hybrid

Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP55,000 OTE GBP80K – GBP95K+ (uncapped)

Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + GBP5K car allowance + laptop + phone

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business by developing sales strategies and utilising your own network. Your key objective is to open new doors with office fit–out companies and build a steady sales pipeline through cold outreach and networking. Once accounts are onboarded, you will also be responsible for nurturing these accounts.

Key Duties:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business.
  • Utilise your network to develop new business opportunities.
  • Onboard new clients and manage their accounts to maximise profitability.
  • Consult with prospective clients to qualify their requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and collaborate with the solutions designer to ensure customer briefs are met.
  • Attend client meetings and create and present quotations.
  • Attend networking events, engage in cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and other methods to open new doors.

Essential Qualities and Skills:
  • 3+ years of sales experience within the AV industry or similar.
  • Confident in cold outreach and achieving sales targets.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Preferred Qualities and Skills:
  • Pre–established relationships with large office fit–out companies.

In Return:

Our client offers an annual salary of GBP40,000 – GBP55,000 with an uncapped commission structure, target earnings of GBP80,000 – GBP95,000, a GBP5,000 car allowance, and a credit card for expenses. You will also receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and have the opportunity to work flexibly on a hybrid basis with just one day a week in the office.
