BASIC SALARY: Up to GBP50,000

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Technical Sales – Water Treatment
We re looking for an ambitious and determined Business Development Manager. Your motivation comes from generating new business and building for your future.
With recent investment coming from our acquisition by one of the water industry leaders, we re looking to push the company forwards and we need you to be the driving force behind it. If you succeed, there may even be the opportunity to progress into growing your own sales team in the future.
In addition, you will have:
The drive to constantly prospect for new business opportunities and ensure a full pipeline.
The commercial acumen to maximise our current opportunities. (Utilising our CRM, capitalising on any warm leads and lapsed clients)
The desire to maximise your earning potential and the ambition to grow into a larger role in future.
A technical understanding and a background in a technical sell based on a specification/solution would be a huge advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Technical Sales – Water Treatment
As our Business Development Manager, you ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities within the Water Treatment industry. We re looking for a pro–active salesperson to fully utilise our database of warm leads and create new business.
We re market leaders within the industry and have some of the best equipment on the market, so you know you ll be selling the best. This isn t a quick sell based on price, it s a specification/solution sell based on quality.
As our Business Development Manager, you ll be:
Making this role your own and will be given the freedom to build the role yourself.
Selling our products to dealers, contractors, and end users in a solution based B2B sales environment.
Focussed on consistent sales, our orders can be anything from GBP1,000–GBP100,000.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Territory Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Account Manager, Technical Sales – Water Treatment, Wastewater, Water, Chemical, Dosing Systems, Purification, UV Water Treatment, Brewery, Distillery, Chlorination
