Facilities Business Development Manager

Our client is a commercial services and maintenance company located in beautiful offices in a lovely location close to Epping Essex servicing the South of England. Due to company expansion & development, we currently have been asked to find them a Business Development Manager. We are therefore seeking a motivated person with sales / business development background in the Facilities sector of Construction.
The areas currently covered are approximately a 100 miles radius of London but they are looking to expand this. If you are an experienced, passionate, driven & ambitious Business Development Manager looking for a long–term career then please read on.

Facilities Business Development Manager Role:
As a Facilities Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable financial growth. Your responsibilities will include developing new client relationships, nurturing existing ones, and expanding our business footprint. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing and growing a small, high–performing sales team.

Facilities Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
Leading a sales team of up to 4 Business Development Managers (BDMs). Conducting weekly meetings with BDMs and monthly reporting to the Director. Actively participating in Monthly Board meetings. Recruiting and interviewing new BDMs. Spearheading new business development, including cold calling and maintaining client relationships. Managing our CRM database and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities. Preparing new account documentation and client information packages. Attending sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client entertainment events as required. Collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams.

Facilities Business Development Manager Essential Requirements:
Proven track record in B2B sales, must have Facilities Management, Drainage and Plumbing background. Exceptional communication skills across all business levels. Experience with HubSpot (preferred). Self–motivated with excellent management skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written, oral, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online portals. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Outstanding references. Full driving license. Demonstrated success in a similar role. Business acumen, excellent organisational and team–working skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate.
