I'm delighted to be assisting a global PE backed business that is undergoing an exciting period of growth with their search for a Head of Financial Accounting.
In this role you will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure an efficient and compliant accounting process.

What you will do:

Key elements of the role will include:

• Planning and executing accurate and timely preparation of the annual financial statements for the business including managing external audit processes
• Leading timely and accurate preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Leading the month–end close process, ensuring appropriate plans are in place to meet reporting deadlines
• Taking ownership of forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning process around income, costs, balance sheet and cash flow accounting
• Leading on tax matters including VAT compliance and filing
• Line Management of a small Finance team
• Continuous development of accounting processes and controls
• Working with key stakeholders on strategic internal projects to support the company's growth

What you will need:

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 5 years PQE, a professional demeanour, exceptional communication skills, and a high level of ambition.

They should demonstrate initiative, enjoy working independently & thrive in a dynamic team environment.
