Finance Manager ( 40,000 – 45,000)
Dalgety Bay, Fife

Our client are seeking a Finance Manager based in Dalgety Bay to assist with all accounting and financing aspects of the business. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director. This opportunity is within an innovative and highly commercial professional services firm with a friendly tight–knit team. Due to consistent growth we now require an experienced Finance professional to take ownership of the day–to–day finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales ledger, purchase ledger and wages and banking, Payroll (external payroll bureau).
  • Ensure compliance– timely HMRC Returns for PAYE and VAT and that the team is professionally managed.
  • Review and post monthly journals.
  • Prepare Monthly Management Accounts Pack.
  • Ensure Key Accounts Reconciled monthly.
  • Review Fixed Assets Register.
  • Assist Finance Director with inputs for the budget, monthly forecast model and weekly cashflow.
  • Manage Weekly Payments Process
  • Prepare RCT & VAT Returns for Irish Entities and all companies registered in Ireland.
  • Process all contracts and payments on Irish Revenue Systems.
  • Process Payments ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare all statutory returns including statutory accounts.
  • Be the key finance contact on RCT, VAT & Tax in Ireland.
  • Prepare Monthly Small Companies Accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L, account reconciliation).
  • Assist with Annual Audit.
  • VAT Support to Business & Finance Team – Support VAT compliance in UK and Any countries in which we operate to ensure compliance – timely and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with reverse charge VAT in UK.
  • Ensure compliance with CIS in UK (Full Training will be provided).
  • Experience & Qualifications
  • IMA ACCA, ICAEW or ICAS professionally qualified.
  • Ideally have 2– 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and expand your knowledge to ensure you work efficiently.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of numeracy and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
