Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Meet with stakeholders to identify project requirements and timelines.
- Help develop detailed project plans and communicate any changing needs and requirements.
- Undertake tasks as directed by the Estates Project Manager, including contractor liaison and quality checking.
- Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
- Contribute to managing and monitoring project budgets.
- Support the Estates Project Manager in ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
- Collaborate with Estates and Curriculum Teams to ensure smooth project and operational interfaces.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant professional or trade qualifications in project management.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of building construction regulations and procedures.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering large building projects, preferably in an educational setting.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, CDM).
- Experience with contractor selection and tendering processes.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem–solving skills and adaptability.
- Confident, friendly, and able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel offsite, holding a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Physical capability for an active role.
