Project Manager (Part–time) – Property Refurbishment

Halt Estates is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to oversee a refurbishment project in Herne Hill, South East London. The project involves a substantial property currently segmented into three flats. These flats are set to be completely gutted and refitted to meet contemporary standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and collaborate with contractors to ensure the project is executed efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, with a particular focus on fire safety and insulation standards.
• Liaise with the building inspector to guarantee all refurbishments meet legal requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in managing refurbishment projects.
• Thorough knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Suitable for individuals who are perhaps handling similar projects, or those recently retired and seeking part–time engagement.

Commitment:

• The role requires a commitment of approximately one day per week.
