Director - Technical Operations Dev Team Lead

A Global Investment Bank is seeking a Director to manage it's Global Markets IT Securities Lifecycle development teams from an operational standpoint.

This role will drive the technology strategy and solutions for the bank's asset servicing capabilities across its capital markets business. You will oversee globally distributed development teams based in London, New York, and India.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Securities Lifecycle Development Teams ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Establish strong partnerships with global stakeholders across business, operations and finance
• Prioritize requirements and lead continuous improvement of processes and solutions
• Implement technology strategies enhancing asset servicing capabilities and efficiency
• Build high-performing teams focused on delivery, productivity and career development

Requirements:

• Significant technology leadership experience in financial services
• Deep understanding of corporate actions events and financial instruments
• Strong expertise in software development - Java, SQL, C++
• Proven ability to bridge business/operations needs with IT delivery
• Excellent communication skills to liaise cross-functionally and present complex solutions
• Experience in Agile/DevOps methodologies and managing distributed teams
• Project management and software delivery experience under formal processes
• Business acumen with focus on results, innovation and stakeholder management
