Defendant Personal Injury lawyer (Sports-related claims) NQ - 2 years' PQE LONDON

Private practice law firm in London is looking to recruit Defendant Personal Injury lawyer of 0 to 2 years' PQE covering sports-related claims. The team provides a full, expert service in defending public liability (PL) and employers' liability (EL) claims, across the private sector and the public sector. They operate on a national basis with dedicated commercial insurance and public sector teams. Working in a dedicated Sports Team, you will be responsible, under appropriate supervision, for the day to day management of your own varied caseload. You will also assist Partners and Principal Associates in the defence of a wide range of claims, often high value and high profile, on behalf of sports' governing bodies, competitors, sports clubs, and their insurers. Tasks will include assisting with significant disclosure and document reviews including e-Discovery, preparing witness statements, undertaking legal and factual research, drafting instructions to Counsel and experts, preparing reports to clients, preparing for and attending court hearings and meetings.

Qualified candidates will have a track record of managing EL/PL personal injury claims, with a demonstrable understanding of the law relating to negligence and health and safety. Newly-qualified candidates will have undertaken a seat in Personal Injury law.
