Assistant Mechanical Project Manager

We are working with an up and coming M&E contractor with a turnover of 5m and very strong relationships delivering residential, hotel and banking framework for well respected main contractors and direct to end client who are looking for an assistant mechanical project manager to join their business.

working across 2–3 projects simultaneously (initially in SW London) you will support their technical director, visiting projects to support the mechanical supervisors tasked with overseeing technical troubleshooting and office duties around RAMS, technical submissions and QA, acting as a link between the on–site teams and the strategically placed technical lead.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a team of on–site supervisors and managers.
• Ensuring safe management and control of mechanical services installation & ensuring works. are carried out in accordance with procedures/ processes.
• Reporting to an MEP engineering managr, you will responsible for developing and submitting weekly progress & performance reports.
• Attending necessary project meetings, acting as a company representative.

You will be given a clear and achievable promotion plan, with progression progression milestones outlined from the beginning of your tenure.

This role is perfectly suited to an up and coming project engineer or a supervisor/site manager with an interest in the more technical elements who is looking for a progression into project management in a supportive environment.
