Senior Business Analyst
Salary: 80,000 – 90,000 + bonus
Location: London based, 2–3 days on site

Our client is an international supplier of solutions and services to businesses across the world. They are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their growing team as they look to digitalise their offline processes and build a digital network, starting with the analysis of their media and content technology strategy.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for providing operational analysis and documentation to help define and follow the agreed strategy, working collaboratively across the business including key stakeholders and various technology and product teams.
Main Duties:
- Analyse current systems and products, creating gap documentation, detailed user acceptance criteria, and related test cases
- Identify risks and challenges related to product and program initiatives, and develop mitigation strategies with project management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including product managers, technologists, and end–users to define product, business, financial, operational requirements, and system goals
- Participate in design sessions to document new functionality and systems
- Work with team members to translate platform product strategy into actionable technical requirements and realistic timelines
- Facilitate communication between product development teams, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Assist in developing and maintaining product roadmaps and program plans, providing insights to help prioritise features and initiatives
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories, collaborating with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of feature specifications.
- Analyse data related to product performance, program metrics, and customer feedback, creating insightful reports to support decision–making
- Contribute to testing plans and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure products and programs meet requirements
- Perform cost–benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to support management in making implementation decisions
- Foster growth, development, and the establishment of best practices for the department's business analyst capabilities
- Oversee and mentor junior business analysts as the team expands
- Provide coaching and development for team members
Role requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- A background in Publishing or E–commerce industries
- Proven Management experience
- Knowledge of content platforms and previous experience analysing complex technology platforms
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and drive business changes
- Expertise in business analysis and data visualisation tools e.g. Jira, Visio, Microsoft Excel, MS Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure of business analysis techniques such as MoSCoW or SWOT
