SENIOR CONSTRUCTION LAWYER / PARTNER
LEEDS CITY CENTRE WITH HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS
Competitive salary plus bonus and benefits
An exciting opportunity for a senior Construction lawyer with a focus on contentious matters to join the Leeds office of this innovative firm.
Our Client
The firm's specialist Construction team provides advice to a variety of well-known clients on all aspects of development and construction, from initial stages to litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Clients range from property developers and retailers to lending banks and engineering consultancies.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a caseload of complex construction disputes, develop ADR strategies, and offer top-tier legal advice to clients. This senior role allows for the opportunity to shape the firm's construction litigation practice and contribute to its growth and success.
The Ideal Candidate
The firm is looking to recruit a Construction lawyer with significant contentious experience, ideally with a minimum of eight years' post-qualification experience.
Candidates with a mix of contentious and non-contentious experience will also be considered, and the firm is open to hiring a lateral Partner.
You should be a good networker and an effective supervisor and mentor to more junior members of the team.
You should be able to work part of the week from the firm's modern Leeds office, known for its vibrant and open-plan workspace. The firm values approachability and community, with many lawyers having advanced within the firm over the years.
Any references to PQE/years' experience in our adverts are included purely as a guide and should not preclude candidates who believe they have the requisite skills and experience from applying.
