Our client is a well-funded, multi-site business with a strong international footprint. They are now looking to recruit a CFO to work as part of a highly driven management team , providing critical strategic input whilst also ensuring the business has a best-in-class systems, controls and processes. This is a highly visible role and the incoming CFO will need to have the necessary credibility and gravitas to work effectively with a broad range of external investors and non-finance functions internally. Previous experience working in an early stage, high growth business is essential as this role requires somebody with a truly ‘hands-on’ approach together with a strong understanding and appreciation for the more commercial contributions of a CFO in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business.

Role
- Lead, direct and manage a small finance team
- Key member of the Management Team (functional leadership team)
- Lead financial planning by developing robust growth plans and forecasts
- Ensure timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Company secretarial duties
- Treasury and working capital management
- Responsible for day to day banking relationships and stakeholder management
- Supporting fundraising (equity and debt), investor requests and due diligence
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a multi-site/ multi-location business
- Strong International experience
- Demonstrable track record building robust teams whilst ensuring operational excellence
- Previous FD experience
- Excellent leadership skills, personal integrity and an effective team player
- Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills
- Adaptable and able to be both ‘hands-on’ whilst also operating as a strategic partner
- Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast moving, change driven environment
- Robust, resilient and high energy
