The Company recruiting for the Business Development Manager:

  • Our client is a small but well–established and growing export company bringing a totally unique composite technology to military, industrial, space and retail sectors worldwide.

  • Growth into new sectors means that the company need a Business Development Manager to join their team and help them expand their network of Distributors, OEM's and Integrators who can apply their technology into the industrial sector.

The Role of the Business Development Manager:

  • As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked to deliver sales growth targets in the International Industrial B2B sector.
  • This would be done by identifying opportunities for the products with the associated routes to market
  • Providing technical, commercial and marketing support to a range of global distributors, OEM's and integrators to win new business.
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be expected to manage and drive current and new commercial business activity
  • Our client operates globally in military, industrial and retail markets. The role will require international travel and interaction with both government and commercial organisations.

The Candidate for the Business Development Manager:
You must have experience of B2B sales of technical products or technology into the industrial sector. A mature demeanour is required to be able to present the products professionally to Distributors and specifiers. You must be prepared to travel internationally; it is anticipated that this will develop into 50% of the time.

  • You'll have sales experience within the technical/industrial market
  • A real sales focus, someone that is hungry to succeed and hit targets
  • Strong presentation skills, combined with a logical approach to strategic issues
  • A Full UK driving licence
  • Any additional language is beneficial but not essential
  • Self–drive/motivation and Career ambition
  • Willing to travel to Europe 50% of your time

The Package for the Business Development Manager:

  • 40,000 – 45,000 basic salary
  • With performance based annual bonus
  • Pension, Mobile, Tablet
  • 25 days holiday plus stats
