Deputy Director of Estates and Property

Build Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a London based public sector client to make the key appoint an Interim Deputy Director of Estates and Property: GBP450 – GBP600 per day Umbrella.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Estates and Property, this role also has an advisory capacity to the Executive Board.

Working to an Estates Masterplan, this unique opportunity requires the Deputy Director of Estates and Property to develop and maintain strategic, collaborative, and robust relationships with private sector investors, developers, and stakeholders to support delivery of the Estates Masterplan.

The Deputy Director of Estates and Property will take responsibility for creating the strategy for monitoring and managing the condition, compliance, suitability, and performance of building assets, identifying when capital works will be needed as being responsible for ensuring strategic property projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This opportunity would suit applicants with a detailed knowledge and understanding of property, development, and investment within the public sector and those who have held senior/executive positions with multi–million pound (Capex and Opex) budgetary responsibility.

This is opportunity is immediately available with a view to becoming permanent early 2025.
