The Electronic Component Systems Director will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the electronic components division. This role demands a visionary leader who can spearhead the development and implementation of innovative solutions, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the electronic components division, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Building on your background which maybe across embedded solutions, Time synchronisation, Lighting or Connectors.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical experts, ensuring continuous professional development and high performance.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of electronic component systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive market penetration and business growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and industry partners to ensure the availability and quality of components.
  • Monitor and analyse industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place to maintain the highest standards of product reliability and performance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure project success and profitability.

Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the electronic components industry, ideally across embedded systems & solutions, time synchronisation, lighting or connector components.
  • Strong technical background in electronic component systems, with a thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of driving business growth and innovation.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high–performance culture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the electronics industry.

Director of Systems (Electronic Components)

Salary :– GBP75k Base + Commission, Car Allowance, 9% pension, 25 days hols + bank holidays, Fitness Benefit, Self–choice volunteering days.
Location :– Home Based North UK, Ireland & Scotland
Company:– The organisation deliver design, specification and distribution of specialist electronic components and systems, lighting technologies and connectivity products, working across various industries including the FM, M&E, Electronics, defence, aerospace, industrial, finance, broadcast, power, transport, telecoms, and space sectors.
