Project Manager required to join a busy, growing Enabling Works contractor for their projects in central London.

• Enabling works, structural demolition, strip out, cut & carve
• Projects tend to be GBP1m to GBP5m and the majority in London zone one
• Salary GBP80k to GBP90k plus benefits

Even with a well known name stretching back 50 years, there's no guarantee new projects will come to you. It takes lots of things, including a good portfolio of successfuly completed projects, to enable sustained growth (in what's been a pretty tough market lately)

This specialist contractor is getting things right. They've been growing steadily whilst strengthening their operational teams, to the point now where the future workload is looking stronger still. It now means they need to continue to strengthen.

You'd take on one of two or three new projects that are ready to start. The absolute fundamental driver for the directors of the business is to deliver their projects successfully, on time. Now this sounds fairly generic, but they really stand by it. It means going the extra mile, making sure you're on program at all stages, getting close to the client, resolving problems and challenges when they arise. Generally doing the right thing so the client wants to use you on their next project.

You can come from a specialist civil engineering contractor background, or a main contractor (if you're looking for a different challenge). It would be great if you have London demolition sector experience, however this isn't vital. What's more important is your attitude and ability to deliver a project successfully.
