GBP42,000 – GBP52,000

Working Hours: Monday Friday 9am –5.30pm (can be flexible working)

As part of the dynamic team in the north of the UK, you'll be at the forefront of managing and collaborating with our Client Services department, steering medium to large–scale B2B and B2C global clients through their project journeys. From strategic digital or social projects to captivating creative campaigns spanning everything from motion graphics to websites, your role will involve leading clients through marketing plans, social strategies, crafting creative briefs and fostering strong client relationships to seize new opportunities.

Main Responsibilities of the Account Director

  • Acting as a client lead, earning the trust of internal and external stakeholders to deliver day–to–day work, as well as providing proactive counsel on new approaches and ideas that will help meet clients broader objectives
  • Reviewing and writing briefs to the creative team ensuring Notion (project app) is kept up to date and jobs run smoothly
  • New business development; as well as growing existing clients, you must be able to successfully build proposals for new clients, supporting the UK and US team on building decks and pulling together insights
  • Financial acumen; understanding the importance of business forecasting and targets, keeping the GP & status sheets up to date, reviewing pipeline, invoicing, managing job profitability through our time tracking software (Harvest app)
  • A confident line manager to the CS team with the ability to set objectives and conduct regular reviews and be responsible for recruiting team members if needed
  • Commercial acumen; being able to confidently challenge clients to sell in our creative thinking and push back with the ability to spot and sell–in opportunities

Experience and Skills required

  • 8+ years creative agency experience at a senior level
  • Proven experience executing branding design and digital projects, from initial enquiry through to launch, across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in digital marketing is a must in areas such as social media or influencer marketing
  • Experience in working directly with a creative studio from briefing, to reviewing and making sure it answers the brief
  • Experience in new business pitches
  • B2C and B2B client experience
  • Proven track record of prioritising workload and servicing multiple clients
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Global brand experience preferred
  • Great proofreading skills
  • A dual skill set of strategic creative thinking and being able to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
  • A creative problem solver
