The EV Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our EV charging solutions. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver top–tier solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the EV market, excellent sales acumen, and a passion for renewable energy technologies.

General overview of tasks will involve;
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to increase market share for the company s EV charging solutions.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including partnerships, strategic alliances, and potential clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial clients, government entities, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Involvement in the development of a new EV product which will be launching this year.

Experience & Skills Required
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the EV, renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the EV market, including key players, technologies, and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Results–driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
