Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on new business sales within the security installation sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing and developing relationships with existing clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent a leading brand and make a significant impact in the industry.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and target security installation companies within the designated territory to generate new business opportunities.
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
– Build strong relationships with key decision–makers and stakeholders within target accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
– Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our CCTV solutions.
– Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
– Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
– Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, demonstrating progress against targets and objectives.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working for a distributor or manufacturer within the security industry, selling to security installation companies.
– Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
– Strong understanding of CCTV technology and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients.
– Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
– Self–motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
– Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
– Full UK driving license.
Benefits:
– Competitive salary: 45,000 – 55,000 per annum (DOE)
– Bonus: OTE 12,000
– Car allowance: 500 per month
– 30 days holiday
