This challenging role places you at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing a portfolio of critical aviation safety services and your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of these services, safeguarding the skies for countless travellers.
As the custodian of these vital systems, your responsibilities will include meticulous oversight of daily operations, incident response, and strategic long–term management. Your role is crucial in ensuring the continuous availability of aviation safety services, and you will be the driving force behind resolving issues with precision and efficiency.
Your technical acumen will be put to the test as you collaborate with internal teams and external partners, managing system enhancements and participating in change control boards. Your contribution will be instrumental in shaping the future of aero safety services.
To excel in this role, you will bring:
– A wealth of experience in telecommunications and IP–based mobile networking, with a preference for knowledge in satellite or mobile communications systems.
– Proven expertise in managing, maintaining, and upgrading operational systems.
– Exceptional analytical and problem–solving skills.
– Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
– A self–driven, flexible approach, capable of working independently or within a team.
– Familiarity with aeronautical standards and processes, including ICAO, ARINC, RTCA, Eurocae, and Certification.
– Proficiency in networking technology and protocols, IT security practices, Cloud Computing Services, and various operating systems.
– Programming/scripting skills in languages such as C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, Java, HTML, etc.
