Description:

TEKsystems are currently engaged with a global banking client to source the Head of Operations and Automation.

This role requires the right candidate to have experience working on Automation Operations and Business Technology delivery experience within Wealth and Private Banking or Retail Banking or Wholesale Banking.

Coupled with technical aptitude acumen you don't need to be hands on but a good understanding of technology helps to build automation business cases to help the function.

In this role you will be the Bank wide business automation domain owner. Owning automation patterns and solutions across the bank.

Responsibilities;

1) Identify problems and opportunities around automation across different banking functions - Think what can we use and sell to help improve cost saving via automation tasks?

2) Materialise these ideas into design and delivery project

3) Deliver automation benefits to automate to enable the function to achieve their targets

4) Ensure it lands end to end and make sure the ideal is outcome is achieved

Technical aptitude acumen is nice to have. This role is not hands on but a good understanding of technology to build automation business case to help different functions helps.

This is NOT a Project or Program management role.

This person will NOT have engineer team reporting directly into them - the engineer teams will be utilised directly from the function

Hybrid working 3 days a week In Sheffield.
