Commercial Director – Manchester– Up to GBP180,000Our client is a leading provider of luxury hair solutions, offering a range of haircare products. With a strong presence in the beauty industry, our client has earned recognition from both the beauty press and celebrities, making waves up and down the red carpet. Operating internationally, our client serves both salon professionals and direct–to–consumer markets.Our client's structure is expanding internationally. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to play a pivotal role in managing teams across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services in this multi–brand environment.Join this big brand as a Commercial Director and take your career to new heights.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective team and leadership structures across Sales & Marketing, Product, and Service functions.
  • Foster global connections for commercial leaders to facilitate the sharing of best practices and alignment of processes.
  • Lead the translation of global strategy into European and regional execution across all sales channels.
  • Collaborate with international brand leaders to support strategic plans for UK/EU market entry.
  • Produce internal reporting of monthly sales and marketing performance in partnership with the Finance Director.
  • Monitor product and service development and delivery in conjunction with Products and Customer Service leadership.
  • Support the integration of specific brands into the UK infrastructure in 2024/2025.
  • Prioritise project management, including the integration of the hub and establishing working methods with global teams.
  • Ensure the continuing professional development of the Senior Leadership Team and Management Team.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure alignment of commercial activity and objectives across functions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of previous working experience in a retail/sales environment in the UK & EU with an entrepreneurial drive and enthusiasm
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of brands, preferably in both salon and direct–to–consumer settings.
  • Solid understanding of all relevant sales channels (ecommerce, direct sales, distribution/wholesale, retail).
  • Experience working in a matrix/global organization is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in Beauty or Hair Brand management is preferred.
  • Strong experience in Client Relationship Management.
  • In–depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics.
  • Hands–on experience in creating reports and managing budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, time–management, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Results–driven with a focus on growth and mentoring.
  • Enthusiasm for the beauty industry and current social trends.
