Creative Director –Are you a dynamic and seasoned Creative Director ready to take the reins at a leading Social Agency in Manchester? We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our senior team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the agency's creative direction. As the Creative Director, you will embody and champion our agency values, setting the tone for the entire team.The agency is at the forefront of social marketing, and we're on the lookout for a visionary Creative Director to lead their team and inspire the wider agency. This is not a typical managerial role – we need someone who thrives on rolling up their sleeves, managing their own projects, and overseeing others in a hands–on, dynamic environment.The ideal candidate will come from a social background and be ready to hit the ground running. - Provide leadership to the team & establishing the tone for the department
- Oversee the day–to–day operations of the Campaign Squad
- Execute personal projects while supervising the work of others
- Collaborate with the Executive Creative Directors to ensure optimal work outcome
- Work in tandem with other teams to achieve financial objectives and manage workloads
- Assist Assistant Creative Directors in concept development, client presentations and pitches
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team, serving as the go–to person within the agency
- Maintain awareness of all major projects and support others in realising the overall vision
Requirements:
- Essential: 6–8+ years of experience in Social marketing, Social PR, or equivalent
- Hold 4+ years in a Senior role (Copywriter, Art Director, Hybrid, or other)
- Demonstrate proven experience in leading teams
- Showcase a robust portfolio with consistently strong, social–first ideas
- Exhibit leadership skills coupled with excellent presentation abilities
- A strong emphasis on great deck design (design skills desirable)
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for Social with a clear vision for team growth and leadership
- Possess determination to accomplish tasks with an ambition to create campaigns that define a generation
