Head of Strategic Finance

Your new companyA UK Government agency, based in Canary Wharf, is looking for a Head of Strategic Finance for a 12–month fixed–term contract.Your new roleYou will be responsibile for:

• Ensuring effective strategic and operational modelling, forecasting and analysis
• Supporting medium to long term decision–making and policy setting
• Leading a team of four Financial Analysts and modellers

What you'll need to succeed

• Central Government background
• Experience leading MTFS (Spending Review)
• Experience of budget setting, modelling, forecasting and analysis
• Strong relationship building skills
• Management experience
• Qualified accountant, or QBE
• Green Book, Value for Money and Business Case experience – desirable

What you'll get in return

• Hybrid working – 4 days per month in Canary Wharf office
• Additional GBP4000 for fully qualified accountants
