Project Manager

A regional groundworks contractor require a Project Manager to join their Hampshire office, the business specialise in delivering bespoke groundworks and infrastructure packages on sites across Hampshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire for regional developers and some of the UK's largest developers.

Traditionally projects consist of new section 278 works, storm and foul drainage, foundations, retaining walls, roads, landscaping and associated street furniture.

The Project Manager will join the fast paced environment of residential groundworks and operate as a stand–alone Project Manager, managing the engineering aspects of up to 5 live sites.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager on a day–to–day and have monthly review meetings to ensure you are getting the best support in your career.

The ideal Project Manager required to lead an experienced team in the fast paced civil engineering, highways environment. They have an extremely busy start to 2024 with ongoing projects through the year ranging from drainage works to bridge repairs and replacements. Reporting to the Framework Manager you will assist with managing the client's requirements, attending regular meetings to maintain maximum client satisfaction and business development.

Other projects you will be involved with include one–off highways schemes, junction upgrades/pinch points, section 278 works and more. Ideally, but not essential you will have experience working on similar schemes may have overcome problems along the way – providing this you can implement alternative solutions to your team.

Leading by example you will offer in depth support to your team of Site Agents and other operational staff to boost their career development as well as maximising efficiency and profits across live and upcoming works.
