Project Manager

The On–Site Group are looking for Project Manager in Birmingham to join our friendly, modern construction consultancy client.

As a Project Manager, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. You will be responsible for:

• Client Liaison: Engaging with clients, presenting project plans, discussing project timelines, and addressing any issues affecting service delivery.
• Contract Administration: Serving as the Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent for a wide range of building types, using various standard construction forms.
• Team Management: Appointing and managing the performance of the Professional Team involved in the projects.
• Site Visits: Conducting site visits, performing inspections, and generating comprehensive inspection reports.
• Project Planning: Preparing and presenting initial appraisal and feasibility reports.
• Design Development: Creating and presenting outline design proposals, including the preparation of budget estimate costs.
• Detailed Planning: Preparing full working drawings and ensuring design accuracy.
• Tender Processes: Managing the tender process, conducting analyses, and preparing detailed reports.
• Delegation: Effectively delegating tasks while retaining ultimate responsibility for project achievement.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management, coupled with relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in managing education and/or residential projects.
• Proficiency in working on RIBA stages 0–4.
• Associate membership of RICS or an equivalent recognised qualification.
