Description
Key Responsibilities of the financial accountant:
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with regulatory guidelines and accounting principles.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.

Profile
Qualifications and Requirements for the Financial accountant role:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and practices (e., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems (e., SAP, Oracle).
