You will own and drive the People Strategy at a LAB (London, Amsterdam & Brussels) system level, being accountable for delivery of key initiatives across sustainability, engagement, career fulfilment, and diversity & inclusion:

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will manage the LAB People & Projects Team, directly with LAB People leadership (LAB People Chair, LAB Talent Senior Director, LAB HR Senior Director) on people related projects. You will also support members of the People & Projects team (LAB DE&I, LAB Analytics) and with our functional teams to drive change in our key people processes. You will report into the LAB Talent Director who will provide developmental guidance and support.
You will own and drive the People Strategy at a LAB (London, Amsterdam & Brussels) system level, being accountable for delivery of key initiatives across sustainability, engagement, career fulfilment, and diversity & inclusion:
- Drive engagement and implementation of the LAB People Agenda, working closely with the People functions.
- Partner with local, regional & global People functions (staffing, mobility, career development, etc.), to lead and execute run & change work across the People Agenda
- Lead delivery of strategic global people projects, adapting global design principles to local office context, needs, and practicalities.
- Continue roll-out of our global people promise initiatives, including (flagship programme to improve transparency and accessibility to various career paths) and Cool-Down Days (structured time off from cases for our consulting teams to focus on learning & development and office contribution)
- Own and steer agendas for, and prepare content for, for key leadership meetings (e.g., LAB Management Team, LAB PA People nodes) to update, escalate, or drive decisions
- People management: lead People & Projects team, covering People support functions: DE&I, People Strategy & Change, EVP, NextGen ways of working
- Act as a LAB point of contact/thought leadership to other systems and global teams on people projects across consultant topics (engagement, career fulfilment, DE&I, sustainability)
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- You have a strong interest in change management, ideally with some experience in participating in People priorities and/or functional activities at BCG
- You have strong communication and language skills, with a proficiency for preparing engaging and insightful storylines and messages, and an ability to adapt tone by audience
- You thrive working autonomously but also love to collaborate - you are self-driven, anticipating challenges or bottlenecks and planning effectively around them
- You are highly professional and diplomatic, you know when to ask for help or advice, and feel comfortable doing so
- You can navigate a complex organisation and find ways to drive your ideas forward and make things happen
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Required
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including human resources but not essential, showing increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience working in a professional service firm environment with partner structure
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) to a very high standard
- Experience in a team management role
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and well experienced in verbal and written communications to senior audiences
- A proven track record of managing projects to successful outcomes in a complex and highly professional environment, with a particular focus on stakeholder management
- Experience of building effective working relationships across functions and geographies, and leveraging these relationships to deliver positive outcomes
