Project Manager

Job Role: Project Manager (Major Projects)

Location: Covering all of UK

Report to: Ops Manager

Salary: GBP75,000–GBP85,000 pa

Responsibilities:

• Weekly Progress meetings with Site Manager and project team
• Monthly update review meetings with the Project QS, Site Manager, Operations manager, Safety manager, Project Engineer, Project Director and Civil Operations manager where necessary
• Escalate all site issues to Operations manager for review
• Manage and coordinate all health and safety matters on site
• Site set up, appearance and setting out each job to the company standard
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, client and others involved in largescale industrial energy efficiency projects
• Responsible for Procurement Schedule, conception, review and implementation of schedule
• Signing off payment certificates
• Carry out quality audits on Sub Contractors
• Reviewing Design Documents ensuring they meet client specification
• Resolve technical difficulties or problems as they arise
• Plan and efficiently organising site works in order to meet deadlines
• Ensure Adequate competent resources are available throughout the project
• Overall ownership of the program overseeing design, construction, and commissioning on site while ensuring milestones are achieved

Skills/Requirements:

• Degree Qualified
• 8+ Years within the Construction/Electrical Contracting Industry
• High level of ability and advanced knowledge of Construction/High Voltage Industry
• International exposure desirable
• People management skills
• IT Literacy
• Flexibility/Adaptability
• An interest in Innovative design from an energy efficiency perspective
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical nature are key attributes
• The ability to lead, use initiative and be self–motivated
