Commercial Business Partner

The Commercial Business Partner role has the exciting opportunity of partnering with the commercial and procurement directors to establish value added commercial insight, problem solving with correctional activity and reporting. The role will involve driving change and eliminating the work arounds that have been put in place against the MRP system.

Description

• Business partner with procurement Director for supplier activity, pricing and knock–on margin impacts, supplier turnover reporting and supplier consolidation
• Business partner with Commercial Directors for their ASP pricing linking to procurement activity, promotions, new product launches, show events, showroom activity, retail shopfloor products
• Working closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controllers to own budget/forecast process for all brands gross margin and deliver on time to the Financial Controllers for budget/forecast consolidation
• Own the Group orderbook validity by working with sales admin and Commercial Directors and work with IT to ensure data is efficiently input into the system.
• Own external pricing for partner and retail customer stores
• Manage promotional financial impacts
• Own reporting for new model launch success
• Submit weekly intake for Group reporting balancing to the orderbook
• Submit weekly trading report to each brands board of directors
• Work with CEO on a dashboard of key KPIs
• Look to further deliver the commercial suite of reporting and harmonise across the group
• Work with IT to review systems and create intelligent business proposals for change

Profile

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience and demonstratable examples of partnering with senior level management and Director level
• Must be able to lead budget and forecasting processes for gross margin and be able to successfully hand this over to the brand Financial Controllers for inclusion in their submissions
• Strong communicator who can prioritise and deliver workload effectively and on time
• Strong confident excel user who will develop and drive reporting for the business
• Autonomous confident individual who will build relationships around the business to help the Board drive performance
