Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance (People)One of the fastest growing and most exciting SaaS software companies has a rare opportunity to join as Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance supporting our People division. You will play a pivotal role in building/maintaining appropriate framework, you will be accountable to identify, maintain and act on regulation, legislation making sure we are compliant, you will identify areas of risk within the organisation and own actions plans. This is a net new role and the person in this role, will have the ability to define the direction of travel for GRC within our people division, you'll be within a team of likeminded people, there will be lots of opportunity to grow your career, which will enable Access to continue to scale at paceWhat we're all about We love software and how technology never stays the same. Key areas of ownership include: • Develop our framework for the management of risk and translating it into actionable goals• Directing processes • Formulating and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans• Coordinating IT activities to ensure the availability of IT services and data assets• Identifying future challenges in the IT landscape and developing/executing plans• Overseeing departmental budgeting and forecasting within the organisation• Building a world class team, harnessing our LoveWorkLoveLIfe outlook• Identifying and recommending new technology solutions to make Access IT amazing• Delight colleagues here at Access, as they work with every part of technology, everydayResponsibilities: • Lead and coach a team of technical experts & manage our technology vendors relationships• Scope and project plan our journey to World class IT for Access to delight our colleagues • Provide data & systems expertise to ensure we have solid foundations, make the most of what we have and enable Access to grow and flourish • Provide reporting to our senior leadership on the service delivery to colleagues & customers As a well–rounded Director of IT, your Skills and Experiences should include: • Track record of working with critical others at an enterprise scale, working with C–leaders to obtain support and sponsorship for your plans• Ability to define and effectively communicate a long–term technical vision, and inspire the organization around a shared vision for success• 5 years + in a senior IT leadership position, strategic thinker and exec stakeholder communicator • Led and successfully executed an IT programme within an Enterprise scale organisation• Pragmatic and commercial, making the complex appear simple (translating techy speak into everyday language) and demonstrating return on investment• Experienced architectural thinking, in creating an integrated systems, data and people plan, so can quickly make sense of what we need to do and can hit the ground running in executing the plan • Have experience of Hybrid Cloud tech stack and have an ability to concisely define how we should work for scale• Have worked within an environment that is hyper scaling and must have proven experience in growing teams and technology adoption at pace• We are looking for someone who loves what they do and would fit in well with our LoveWorkLoveLIfe outlookWhat does Access offer you?We are a growing software company and we deliver on what we say we do!
