Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Reed Leadership Finance have been exclusively engaged by a fast–growing international FinTech company, headquartered in UK with offices in the North West. We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our client on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in international businesses, capital raising and fundraising activities, including venture capital, private equity, and debt financing.

As Chief Financial Officer they shall work closely with the executive leadership team, to develop and implement financial strategy, create value and ensure continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support companies' growth and profitability goals
  • Lead and manage all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting and tax planning. (Team of 2 currently in finance)
  • Oversee capital raising and fundraising activities
  • Work closely with the executive team to evaluate prospective investment opportunities or strategic acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • International expansion, managing changes and creation of group legal entities. With operations currently in the UK, US, and Asia.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory laws and rules etc.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • An ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with a strong academic background.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director in a similar leadership role.
  • Preferably with experience in a high–growth FinTech company
  • Strong understanding of capital raising and fundraising activities either Venture Capital, Private Equity of Debt financing
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Experience of growing a business, ideally haven taken a business from GBP5m revenue to GBP30m revenue over a 4–year period
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high performing teams
